DOFUS New Game Mechanics: THE TEMPORARY ANOMALIES

WHAT ARE THE TEMPORARY ABNORMALITIES?
With the 2.51 update, we are going to integrate a new game mechanic in DOFUS that will make you travel to all corners of the planet.
In different parts of the World of the Twelve, the network of zaap portals is agitated and characters of other times are appearing in our time. The vigilantes need the help of all the adventurers to close these temporary anomalies.
The monsters around the zaaps will be stronger and more aggressive. It is in your hand to overcome temporary anomalies to calm them down.
You will be transported to different times in known places of the World of the Twelve with the aim of preserving space-time continuity. You will have to show courage and solidarity to defeat the chronoforms as well as the unpublished leaders from the history of Krosmoz, such as Julith, the butcher of Brakmar, Noximiliano and Datura.
Many rewards await you, and the bravest will have the possibility to unlock new legendary powers for your pet, mascoture or mount.
SHOOTING STARS
We needed an indicator and a regulator of the activity of the players in the different zones, so we have based on the existing star system, which will be modified for the occasion.
The star system was designed to reward players who fight monsters in unfrequented areas or face dangerous groups ignored by other players. However, this system has its limits, since it is enough for a group of players to beat the starred groups to cancel the accumulated bonuses. After that, you have to wait several days to take advantage of them again, even if the activity of the players is concentrated elsewhere. The desirable thing is that there are more players that can take advantage of the bonuses in the less popular areas or in the less advantageous maps in combat.
First modification: negative "stars" can be generated. Unlike positive stars, negatives will result in a decrease in experience and loot.
Second change: these stars will not depend on each group of monsters but on the level of the zone, depending on the activity of the players in it. The more monsters are killed in an area, the more stars will lose this and the more they will gain areas of equivalent level. The operation is the same between the dungeons of the same level.
Concrete example (and taken completely at random):
If all the players of the server are concentrated in the Antro del Cil, the profitability of this dungeon will decrease until it reaches -50% of experience and loot gains. (Note: the soul stones of this monster captured with this malus will keep it when used).
Conversely, the profitability of the dungeons of the same level (Bworker, Ugah, Toxoliat) will increase (up to a maximum of + 100%).
The exit zones (Incarnam, Astrub) as well as the event areas (Nawidad, Vulkania, Haluín, Pazcuak) will not be affected by this system.
The value of the bonus or malus applied to a zone can be seen in the corresponding map information (upper left corner of the screen, next to the coordinates). On the world map, there will be a new filter to be able to visualize the positive and negative zones before deciding where you want to go.
BUT WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO SEE WITH THE ANOMALIES?
Let's go back to the jalatín that occupies us: the anomalies. Its appearance is directly related to the star system, since anomalies can only exist in areas with negative stars. If you have followed the previous explanation well, it is about the areas where more battles are being fought. On the other hand, the anomalies do not appear in the dungeons.
When an anomaly appears, the monsters in the area are benefited by a zone modifier and become stronger. The only way they return to their normal state is closing the anomaly, that is, entering to fight against the monsters that inhabit it.
To enter the anomaly in question, you will only have to go to the nearest zaap. And if there is no zaap in sight (in divine dimensions, for example), vestiges of zaap will appear as a portal.
The location of the zaap (or vestige of zaap) that you will have to use will be indicated on the world map.
WHAT, ARE WE GOING TO MACHATE THE CHIEF?
With each anomaly, you will have the opportunity to discover or rediscover a theme, time and character that has left its mark on the universe that we are so passionate about. This character will be the guardian of the temporal anomaly.
Each guardian you face will be accompanied by a new family of monsters: the cronoformes.
A new family of monsters is synonymous with different abilities. In this case, each guardian will be accompanied by a random composition of chronoforms that can adopt different archetypes and elementary affinities.
Obviously, there must be for everyone and not only for Omega +12000 levels, so the monsters of the anomalies will adapt to the level of the area.
Thanks to all these factors, each temporary anomaly will be unique, both in terms of the strategy to be adopted and the challenge to be overcome.
AND HARD, AND HARD
When a temporary anomaly appears, it has no duration limit. However, once the group of monsters of the anomaly has expired, you will only have ten minutes until the anomaly closes again. Do not worry! A timer will appear to remind you!
And do not panic among players who are in combat. They will be able to finish it before being expelled from the temporary anomaly. They will be sent automatically to the zaap associated with the anomaly that has just closed.
When the zone stops having negative stars, the temporary anomaly will close itself after ten minutes.
CHIEF, AND WHAT DO WE WIN?
New challenges and challenges are synonymous with new rewards! This time, those who take the prize will be your pet and / or your mascotura.
Each time you participate in the closure of a temporary anomaly, you will have the opportunity to obtain a new resource called a temporary loop, with which you can unlock legendary powers to give them to your pet, mascoture or mount.
Keep in mind that the chances of obtaining this resource increase depending on the level of the anomaly.
We prefer not to reveal yet what these legendary powers will be, but we can reveal a possible example: "If the carrier does not use any PM in his turn, he gains 1 MP in the next turn."
Thus, this new single line of effect can be added to existing bonuses.
You can also replace it to get one that suits you best in the same pet, but knowing that you risk losing an interesting bonus! These powers will not be hereditary in case of breeding.
In order to unlock these legendary powers, you will have to complete a series of unreleased missions and overcome some additional challenges, but we keep some surprises for later :)
